Ronald McDonald House Charities of Michiana offers a variety of services to families
with a child receiving treatment at Beacon Children’s Hospital, Memorial Hospital and Memorial Epworth Center. We also provide a playroom for the healthy siblings to enjoy.

Day Services
Many families register for Day Services which are available from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., 365 days/year.
Day services may include visiting the House for meals, taking a shower, doing a load of laundry, or escaping the stress of the hospital for a few minutes by sitting down in a quiet and welcoming space. We also provide a children’s playroom featuring a full-wall photo-mural that lets you feel like you are playing outside in a big, open field!
Overnight Accomodations
Families who receive a referral from the hospital can register for a guest room at RMHC Michiana. Our House has 20 overnight bedroom suites.
Each suite has 2 queen size beds and a private bathroom. As with all of our services, there is never a charge for a family to utilize RMHC Michiana–and a family may stay with us as long as their child is receiving treatment at Beacon Children’s Hospital. For many families a stay at RMHC Michiana may be as short as a few days, while for others, a stay may last weeks or even months.
Guest Handbook
Our mission is to provide a “home away from home” for families like yours during this difficult time. The guest handbook provides house rules, guidelines and some helpful hints for staying at our House that we hope will make your stay easier.
The Ronald McDonald House is a community volunteer effort that requires the cooperation of each guest in residence.
